Page 304 What play does for your minds on Earth, worship will do for your perfected Souls on Paradise. The mode of worship on Paradise is utterly beyond mortal comprehension, but the spirit of it you can begin to appreciate even down here on Urantia, for the spirits of the Gods even now indwell you, hover over you, and inspire you to true worship. Here, the state of Paradise is like leisurely recreation instead of boredom. It is the exact expression of the joy of living that we all desire for each and every day and night. When I go to Paradise, I slide down huge leaves on the Garden trees into a pool of water. I sit under huge leaves in soft, silky grass and rest and let my mind relax with loving thoughts of peace. Sometimes I run completely naked as fast as I can. Other times I stand or sit and listen to the holy sounds of the garden. I see bright, beautiful, sparkling images flying around the citizens there. There is no sense of imposition or lack of intelligence. As concerns worship, I feel that with this definition/instruction, joy of living, is an aspect of true worship. There is no night there, there are no shadows. The Universal Father does literally dwell with the Souls of planetarians. Planetarians are covered Souls. Universal beings are uncovered Souls. Page 379 When mind is endowed with the ministry of the Holy Spirit, it possesses the capacity for (consciously or unconsciously) choosing the spiritual presence of the Universal Father, Christ self. The Spirit of Truth works as one with the presence of the spirit of the Divine. You did not realize that exaltation is not a descent; it is a raising, edifying state of spiritual happiness. In your sorrow, you defeated your own divine purpose in creation, you neglected cooperation, and you voided personal responsibility. The High Teachers do not blame an external source for your downfall from goodness and beauty. These are consequences of your actions. You must now retrace your steps and this time go from lower to higher. You must reverse your self degrading perspective. You do not degrade others, you actually degrade yourself. Galatians 5:22, 23 Such spirit-guided and divinely illuminated persons have already begun to discern the lights of eternal life as they glimmer on the faraway shores of another world; already have they begun to comprehend the reality of that inspiring and comforting truth, "The kingdom of God is not meat and drink but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit." Romans 14:17 Spirit-carried Souls are sustained by that happy expectation which transcends all fear because the love of God is shed abroad in all hearts by the presence of the divine Spirit. Ephesians 5:9-10 For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth; proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. Romans 5:5 the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
