They are places of finite existence for those that have not entered immortality through translation or ascension. I call these individuals planetarians and the UB calls them morontia. Jesus of Nazareth shares that we have all been indoctrinated in all the orders of education and that since he came to the Earth, we have the ability to ascend and express immortality, which is life more abundant. With this in mind, I see that the morontia life is a choice and similarly, it puts on hold one's capacity to follow Jesus into the fullness of the final victory, which is the translation / ascension.

Christ shares your destiny and experiences. This new being is of the eternal past and of the eternal future. On each universe level the Christ endows the new creature only with those attributes which are meaningful and of value on that level. Absolute oneness with the divine is achieved in eternity with the attainment of the Universal Father, the Father of spirits, the source of loving gifts. (Levi means union with GOD. This passage in the UB indicates that this teaching from Genesis is actual. One marries GOD within and enters what the UB calls fusion.)

Rabbi Simon calls 'the field', the mind, and here in Luke, I interpret that the one looking back is reminiscing for the past or holding fear of the future.

(This is the creation of individual consciousness and procreation, designing specific attributes of a sexual nature.) And, Before entering the finite worlds such as Earth to be a planetarian.
The concept of a Soul and indwelling spirit is not new. We are divine in heritage and inheritance. By lot = by choice. "Land" according to Rabbi Simon is true place. Additionally, your choices are what makes you think you really want that thing and that is also "land". This Bible verse is interpreted to mean that you inherit your lot, your choices. You sow and reap your choices. Luke 8:5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. Mind is the fertile connection of the spirit evolving the Soul with cooperation. This mind grows up through the ministry of the seven archangels with the material self. Choose to cooperate with Spirit in creating and fostering the conscious self in the potency of the immortal Soul. Mind is about all you have of universe reality that is subject to your will. The Soul self faithfully portrays the harvest of temporal decisions.

The material mind is the cosmic loom that carries the fabrics on which the indwelling Spirit weaves the threads into patterns of universal characteristics of enduring value and loving meaning, which Souls continue in an unending career. We are initiated into the work of angels, as Earthlings, which work we will continue in our eternal careers. In our eternal careers, we will continually broadcast love to the whole universe.
The personality is identified with mind and spirit held together in functional relationship by life in a material body. This functioning relationship of such mind and spirit does not result in some combination of the qualities or attributes of mind and spirit but rather in an entirely new, original, and unique value of eternal endurance, the Soul.
