When I was finally broke (my $30,000 was in England), I went and cut
my hair and sold it. I bought herbs and spices and fixed a potion to heal
my husband. It took days to cure the herbs just right. I took the herb soup
upstairs and fed it to him. No response. I did this for about a week. Still,
no response. Force feeding him liquids was not working. The doctor came for
the last time and gave me the bad news. My husband would not live another
day. He left.
