Heritage 23Misha Convicted

Convicted

I was tried and convicted by the Great Council. Cora, Helga and my lover to be, were formally abstained from voting. They were not required to speak and so were not given the opportunity. Another male member consciously abstained frm voting also. The rest of the council voted unanimously that I should be removed from position. Then it was decided that I was to spend the rest of my life in shelters under the temple city. The shelters were designed for protection in the event of earthquake or some natural catastrophe. Our prophets were warning us, so we prepared as best we could, having water and oxygen in reserve. The shelters were 300 years old and had never been used. After letting me transfer my duties to Cora and Helga, I was to be incarcerated. I went in for my final sentencing and was told I would be killed in one year, when a method had been designed for execution. (We never killed anyone, and I think this was the first death sentence in the Earth).
