Music of the Masters of GODMind

Reading the Master Books of the East and West, I was inspired in various ways to record the ideas in song. I do not consider myself a lyricist since much of my thinking is in music: violins, violas, saxophones, trumpets, pianos. I have an orchestra in my head so I compose music and lyrics generally come later.

I was very sick in 1990, to the result of surgery for recovery. During that time, I was laying in bed moaning and groaning, while listening to a PBS music program. This woman was singing some old jazz in a very scratchy and unattractive voice, additionally, the song was acapella. I thought, how awful is her voice and at the same time I felt love in her voice, sincerity and a sense of peace.

A few years before, I complained about people who stood up in church to sing and had very bad voices. I had learned that GOD wants the singers to sing perfectly. I made it a point that whenever I sing, my voice is perfect. I considered this in my mind and at that moment, Jesus appeared to me and started singing this song. He taught it to me and asked me to sing it. I did and my voice was tragically awful. I was slightly embarrassed. Jesus again asked me to sing it and I was happy to sing it. However, I recorded it in my awful voice and called it my "can't sang song".

When I prepared it for the public, Jesus appeared again and said, in a sense, "do your best". I have tried to do so, and this is the result. Enjoy! marie michael gabriel raphael
