New Website for NCADD - LA
The Alcohol and Drug Council of Greater Los Angeles is a local charity and
part of a nationwide network of affiliates in the National Council on Alcoholism
and Drug Dependence, Inc. Established in 1964, NCADD-LA provides substance
abuse related services to the culturally diverse population of Southern
California.
We believe that alcoholism and drug dependency is a disease which while primarily
affecting the chemically addicted person, adversely impacts all those associated
with that person - family, community, society.
NCADD-LA is funded through the generosity of individual donors, United Way,
Local Independent Charities, Employee g Campaigns, Foundations and
Corporations. Donations are tax-deductible under Section 501(c)(3)
of the IRS.
NCADD-LA assists families in restarting their lives and healing from substance
abuse. Partnering with other organizations, we help increase understanding
and awareness of alcoholism and other drug dependencies, ultimately promoting
a healthier community.
