End Notes

The Babylon 5 dream goes on. The last B5 movie is "A Call to Arms". This movie begins 5 years after President Sheridan's election. It introduces Galen, a technomage, who supports Sheridan and the Alliance and hopes to help them defeat a shadow friend who is also an Alliance enemy.

I hoped for something a little different, since the Drakh, the very patient Drakh, were going to wait and make their move in a thousand years... Well, they obviously lost their patience and attacked. After this attack, the Crusades began. So, I bought the Crusades on DVD. I like the series and with deep thought and contemplation, I could see where that movie was going. As you know, Earth was saved ("Sleeping in Light") and Dr. Franklin lived to see John enter his etermity.

I also bought a copy of the Rangers. I was hoping that the Rangers would be more like Crusade and cover the present, introducing new planetarians under the guidance of Sheridan's Interstellar Alliance. I really wanted to see more aliens and explore social development, unique technologies, and experiment with crisis management between their members and other space bearing entities in their solar systems and maybe even their galaxies.

St. Gabriel discusses dimensions and similar to his ideas about dimensions are:
Deathwalker, apparently from a planet where biological science and genetics dominate conscious awareness.
Centuri Prime is a place where imperialism rules, being a social construct and politically active.
Earth is represented similarly as it is today, a babylonian place where there is more confusion than order and decency.
Minbar is more orderly and decent, culturally and socially appealing and out of these constructs come a powerful military and a unitarian political force.
Dimensions are like these places, where we are united by ideas that appeal to us. We enter these dimensions after the 3 dimensional experience ane we choose these dimensions based on ideals we carry in our minds and hearts, being attracted to them similar to a chemical attraction.
